Lockjaw
System
Adds a third jaw and die to increase tong die to increase tong die coverage
while providing a means to prevent the ring gear from spreading at high
torques.
Splined
Die System
Aligns the die with the tubular and more evenly distributes radial load,
essentially wrapping the die around the tube reduces pipe stress, deformation
and minimizes marking.
Low-Friction

Jaw
Provides a means of using a drill pipe tong and backup to run completion
strings the number of tongs sent to and from jobs.
Die
Retention
Provides an enhanced method of preventing equipment damage and die loss if the pipe is inadvertently moved while the tong or backup are still gripping the pipe.
