Employee Spotlight - Jeremy Louviere

Jeremy has over 7 years in the oil and gas industry. He has been employed with Offshore Energy Services for the past 2 years as a mechanical engineer for the Casing Department.

Job Duties: Jeremy’s main duties include: designing and manufacturing new equipment, automating existing equipment, performing design calculations on new and existing equipment, and providing technical support to all departments. The design work is preformed in a 3d modeling program called Solid Works, allowing isometric views of concepts to be presented to management as well as customers.

Background: Jeremy graduated in May 2001 from UL Lafayette in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he began his engineering career designing oilfield equipment for the drilling industry. During that time, he attended night classes at UL to obtain a master’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after receiving his master’s degree, he embarked on a career at OES.

Hobbies: Most of Jeremy’s free time is spent playing tennis, either in leagues or tournaments. In addition to playing tennis, he is a member of the OES softball team as well as a men’s basketball league. Jeremy also enjoys playing golf and running.

Personal Goals: Jeremy’s goals are to use his knowledge and abilities to make the oilfield a safer place to work with all of the equipment that he has built. He also strives to learn something new every day, to be a great husband to his wife Tori, and one day become a father.
