VES-SD 500, Frame 3, Hydraulically Operated

Automated and Hands Free
The VES-SD 500 offers a one-step system that allows for latching, picking up and the running of large OD casing. Hydraulic doors eliminate the manual handling of large casing tools (single joint and side door elevators) and provides a safer/faster method of handling/running casing.

Pipe Coverage
Provides 360 degree coverage around tubular vs. competitor tool. Bushing provides “square shoulder” to the casing coupling.

Tilt System
Hydraulic tilt actuator for +/- 90 degree tilt operation to enable pickup pipe from v-door.

Trigger System
Pipe trigger system closes elevator automatically.

Safety
Feedback device to confirm latch in closed position. Load sensing device disables door from opening while under a load.

Operation
Elevator opens and closes in 6-8 seconds. Bushing available for size 20" thru 30" casing ODs.
