Scissor Lift Track Tong System

The OES Track Tong System is a tong positioning system that allows for safe, efficient and remote operation of hydraulic tongs. It can be equipped with a 26”, 22”, 20” or 14” casing tongs with gripping ranges of 26” – 4-1/2”. An 8-5/8” drill pipe or 7-5/8” lockjaw tubing tong can also be installed in the system. The track tong system can run on its own track or be used on the rig’s iron roughneck track.

The track tong system allows for quick rig up (one lift) and can be shipped with the track folded up to a 7’ footprint. Total footprint with the track extended is 14’2””. The track tong system can also make up connections at a maximum height of 17’.

Only one technician per tour is needed to operate the track system.
